Marco Illig is a German automotive engineer and entrepreneur based in the United States, specializing in delivering end-to-end technology and engineering solutions across multiple manufacturing sectors. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from FH Aalen and over 25 years of industry experience with top-tier International OEMs and suppliers, he brings precision, innovation, and global insight to every project.
As the founder of MI-TEC.US, Marco focuses on building scalable solutions in automotive, industrial, medical device, smart manufacturing, and more, bridging the gap between traditional engineering and emerging technologies. The startup’s mission: to deliver expert engineering consulting services that help manufactures enhance productivity, ensure quality, and embrace innovation.
In parallel, he works as an end-to-end solutions consultant, helping North and South American. -based companies streamline product development, systems architecture, and go-to-market strategy—from initial concept through launch. Known for a hands-on, systems-thinking approach, Marco partners with startups, OEMs, suppliers, and technical partners to solve complex engineering challenges with efficiency and innovation.
